Felbrigg Hall
There is a mix of opulence and homeliness in Felbrigg Hall, from the stained glass windows in the Great Hall to Queen Mary's teapot in the Drawing Room.
Felbrigg's Chinese Bedroom houses many of the East India Company's luxury exports, while the Cabinet Room displays the treasures gathered on a European Grand Tour.
The walled garden is a gardener's delight in its decorative and productive aspects. The Hall is decorated with flowers from the garden, while the Squire's Pantry receives fruit and vegetables from the allotments.
During the day, you can watch the hens pecking wherever they like, listening only to the busy bees.
There are waymarked trails, a lake and 211 hectares (520 acres) of woods in this sprawling landscape park. There are buggy-friendly surfaces along the main visitor routes, so families can enjoy a relaxing day out.
