With so much to see and do you’ll never get bored at Woodlands Caravan Park!

Walks
One of the main advantages of staying at Woodlands is the availability of so many scenic walks. Right on the doorstep is Sheringham Park, run by The National Trust, with hundreds of acres of attractive woods and sculptured parkland. A short drive takes you to the splendour of Felbrigg or Blickling Hall, both of which have extensive areas of beautiful parkland, and are open to the public for much of the year.

Closer to home Woodlands Caravan Park itself is only a short walk away from the nearby beach - ideal for walks or family outings at any time of the year. Other walks include the famous Pedders Way, Marriotts Way, Weavers Way, the Norfolk Coast Path and the Bure Valley Walk - all of which guarantee some of the most stunning scenic views that Norfolk has to offer.

Beaches & the seaside
Woodlands Caravan Park is only a short distance from the historic seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer - both of which remain popular with locals and visiting tourists today. The rest of the North Norfolk coastline is also within easy reach, as is Wells-next-the Sea and Holkham beach with its miles of golden sand, creeks, dunes and lovely pine woods.

Historic Halls/Estates
As mentioned above, the National Trust properties of Sheringham Park, Blickling and Felbrigg Hall are close by. You can also enjoy a trip to Holkham Hall (ancestral home of the Earl of Leicester), Mannington Hall or even Sandringham, the Norfolk home of HM the Queen and reputedly the most beloved of her many residences around the UK - especially during the Christmas period.

Bird Watching

There are bird watching opportunities are aplenty in North Norfolk - with nationally famous bird sanctuaries providing plenty for amateur birdwatchers or professional ornithologists to get excited about!  North Norfolk can lay claim to World class bird watching sites such as Blakeney Point, Holkham, Cley, Salthouse marshes or Pensthorpe waterfowl park and nature reserve to name a few.
